ElectraMeccanica
Mesa offered the best proposal at the end – best land for us, best overall site, best workforce options for us. Then you couple that with the fact that the logistics of being very close to our target market, it made it really appealing . . . [There is] a tier one supply base here, there are engineering firms that are coming here already and that is really appealing to us because there is a talent base that is already starting to come here.

The Mesa Office of Economic Development team was also a positive factor as they created a support system to make it easier to navigate an otherwise complicated endeavor for an international company.

Given our company’s growth, and the growing demand for CGM technology, we felt that a significant expansion of our manufacturing capability in this location was a good strategic fit.

The Boeing Company
The Boeing Company’s location in Mesa, Arizona was once an orange grove and open desert, and more than 30 years ago a facility was constructed to produce helicopters for United States and allied forces. We’re still producing helicopters, and so much more, because of great partnerships with the City of Mesa and the East Valley, local area industry, an engaged workforce, and a community invested in our continued success.

When we were deciding on a site for our new facility we had many great choices, including sites out-of-state. The City of Mesa’s Mayor and his team worked hard to devise a win-win scenario that made Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport the best value alternative for Able Engineering. All the way through the process we felt like the City of Mesa was a true partner, and we look forward to many successful years working in, and with, the City of Mesa.

Embraer Executive Jet Services
Embraer Executive Jet Services (EEJS) support strategy to serve its existing and new Phenom and Legacy business jet customers included the deployment of new Embraer Owned Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Service Centers across North America. After a series of extensive studies performed to determine the optimum location for the construction of these EEJS MRO centers, one of the sites retained was Mesa, Arizona. Mesa offers a wonderful hub location for many of our Western United States customers. Weather is mild and predictable making pilot workload easier on flight planning. Mesa is without a doubt a winning location for one of Embraer’s Executive Jet Service Centers.
