Broadway Corridor Enhancement & Economic Development Initiative in West Mesa Redevelopment Area

The City of Mesa Office of Economic Development (MOED) is conducting qualitative and quantitative research on the “Broadway Corridor,” targeting businesses and residences on or near Broadway Road between Loop 101 and Mesa Drive. MOED has invited Broadway Corridor stakeholders to participate in the research, which includes local business owners and employees, residents, area partners, property owners, consultants, City staff, and City officials. MOED hired HAPI, a Phoenix-based, full-service marketing agency, to conduct and facilitate research which includes focus groups, one-on-one interviews, an online survey, and a final report. Once completed, an Executive Summary of the final report will be posted here. 

Purpose

1. Gain a deeper understanding of the Broadway Corridor from the people who work and live there. 
2. Learn about real challenges and future opportunities of the area. 
3. Formulate an economic strategy that supports businesses, residents, and enhances the quality of life for people who live and work in the area.
4. Help “brand” Broadway Corridor as an attractive and sought after business location.
